Richmond Times-Dispatch announces panelists for the upcoming Metro Business Live

The second installment of Metro Business Live will take place on Tuesday, June 19, with a conversation about the future of Richmond's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

An expert panel will tackle the topic during the networking and breakfast event moderated by Richmond Times-Dispatch Business Editor Gregory J. Gilligan. The panelists include:

  • Bryan Bostic, co-founder of Startup Virginia, who served as its interim executive director from August until May. Bostic also created and sold two companies and is an angel investor in some local ventures.
  • Paul Trible III, co-founder and CEO of Ledbury, a seller of high-end men's shirts, accessories and other clothing.
  • Gwen Hurt, founder, CEO and general manager of Shoe Crazy Wine, which partners with various California and French wineries to make blends according to her specifications and then sells those under her label to dozens of stores, including selected Total Wine and More, Costco, Urban Farmhouse Market & Cafe and Kroger.

The June 19 event will be held at The Times-Dispatch's downtown location at 300 E. Franklin St. Networking and breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m., and the panel conversation begins at 8 a.m.

Metro Business Live is a quarterly event featuring insightful panel discussions during the breakfast hour that encourages participation by those who attend. Each event focuses on a real-time trending topic of importance to the Richmond business community and explores valuable insights from a panel of experts including CEOs, executive leaders, entrepreneurs and business owners on the chosen topic.
