Brainworks CircSmart eliminates 23 hours from EO Media's mail processes 9/30/19

Brainworks Software customer EO Media Group is a family-owned group of small newspapers, websites and other communication entities based in Oregon and Washington. With more than 11 newspapers and 25 active users of Brainworks CircSmart, EO Media was looking for a solution to cut hours during the mailing process and track more accurate data with its high volume mail subscription base.

Certified Audit of Circulations merger with Alliance for Audited Media completed 6/12/18

Members of the Certified Audit of Circulations voted unanimously to support a merger with the Alliance for Audited Media. One hundred percent of the votes cast were in favor of the merger with more than 30 percent of members voting. AAM's membership also overwhelmingly supported the merger with 99 percent approving it. With support from both memberships, the merger was completed on May 29.

With unanimous support, the board of directors of Certified Audit of Circulations is recommending a merger with the Alliance for Audited Media to help keep audit rates low, ensure easy access of independently verified data to media buyers, and enhance customer service. Weeklies no more 9/1/15

In two south-central Georgia towns about 31 miles apart, newspaper readers wanted the same thing: more than one printed edition a week, please.

That's what Boone Newspapers Inc. found out when it recently bought the Cordele Dispatch and the Americus Times-Recorder. Starting Aug. 22 in Americus and Aug. 29 in Cordele, readers got their wish.

As of this week, both papers now come out on Wednesdays and Saturdays instead of only on Fridays. And executives in both places, General Manager Chris Lewis in Cordele and Publisher William Hand in Americus, use the same word to describe community reaction: "excited."

The Atmore Advance moves to once weekly 10/10/13
